Market Franchise Conference

Name of client: Spark Inc. and Loblaws
Type of event: Virtual Conference and Awards Show


Loblaw’s Market Franchise conference brings together franchise owners from across North America to communicate updates and hear from brand leaders on the direction of Loblaw companies. In addition, it allows franchise owners to connect with one another, network and build relationships.


The event was originally scheduled to be held in Mexico, but due to circumstances it had to pivot completely virtually. The client w anted the virtual event to look and feel as engaging as the in person event would have been all while mitigating any risk that would arise with a virtual broadcast. They also wanted to provide the opportunity to recognize and appreciate the response of all the franchise owners and staff that were able to stand up for their customers, delivering goods and supporting their community in a pandemic.


Working closely with Spark Inc., the Bespoke AV team integrated, built, and produced the event. Bespoke AV sent the feed to the virtual platform: 6Connex that Loblaw companies had pre organized. The team provided a combination of pre recordings, live in studio moments virtual break out rooms, and even a live broadcast of a mentalist during one of the sessions all produced in accordance with COVID-19 prevention protocols. Delivering excellence, Bespoke AV hosted and facilitating all technical components over the span of three days.


The response was overwhelmingly positive towards the entire broadcast. The audience really appreciated the quality and engagement throughout the event.
