Team Spotlight: Keith Fox
In this edition of our team spotlight series, we are introducing you to Keith Fox, Production Technician at Bespoke Audio Visual.
His drive, passion, and adaptability makes him an important part of our team.
“Keith has been with Bespoke Audio Visual since the spring of this year, but prior to that was one of our most valuable freelancers. Keith is as versatile as he is talented, and is able to step into many roles on an event, and his experience shows when an out-of-the-box solution is needed. Since joining Bespoke full-time, he has taken an active leadership role on site, and is able to lead crews from start to finish, and work with clients to ensure their vision is executed impeccably.” James Durie, Director of Production
What do you like most about being on the Bespoke Audio Visual team?
I began my career in AV as a freelance video technician working for many AV companies around Ottawa. What stood out when working with Bespoke Audio Visual was the “team” mentality. Not only with the technicians but with clients as well. Bespoke has a positive attitude linking on-site and off-site staff for the best results and simply great people to work with. I always looked forward to my Bespoke shifts and jumped on board the Bespoke team when they offered me a position as one of those team members.
How do you spend your free time?
I just started a new chapter of my life with the addition of the coolest kid in the crib, my son, Weston Fox. He’s only three months old, so in my free time we play games like “dad’s keys”, “who’s going to change the baby?” and my favorite (not mom’s) “who drools more Weston or dad?”. I am looking forward to teaching Weston about life, music and being funny.
What job do you think you’d be really good at?
I started my career learning how to shoot and edit videos and Bespoke Audio Visual has embraced that skillset allowing me to integrate my video design skills to the AV world.
With that said, I would be really good at selling shoes. Actually, I would be really good at creating and designing content for any multimedia platform. I love seeing my video work being used on shows and occasionally on TV.
Also, I do a bit of stand up comedy from time to time, if you like bald jokes and awkward eye contact you would love my set (my dream job).
When people come to you for help, what do they usually need help with?
I get asked to open a lot of jars, I’m not saying I’m buff but I haven’t found a pickle jar I can’t open.
What are you absolutely determined to do?
I am determined to help my son grow and to provide him with the tools he needs to be successful in his interests, whatever they may be.
Also to grow hair…
